The day was half over and the only thing that could be heard in Flashy's ears was the sound of her own hoof beats while making her way through the rye grass. She snorted then sniffed the air having a feeling that she was entering claimed territory. She pinned her ears back before cautiously making her way through the grass until it turned into bluegrass which made her whinny in excitement. She had forgotten that she was in claimed territory for that moment while she enjoyed the grass and her ears perked up when she heard water. When she looked up slightly from her grazing she saw a pond which she only snorted at before trotting over and dunking her muzzle in just to take in a few gulps of water so that her journey to the Blistering Plains was that much of a hassle now. Once she got her fill of water she brought her head up and just shook herself off before she slowly made her way east.

The dusty granite stag snorted loudly into the tall grasses of the center land, and continued to graze his way through. He had already found several good grazing spots, and knew he had made a good choice for his land. Jome Vrbe would be able to sustain as large of a herd as he wanted, though he figured he wouldn't want a huge herd, small to moderate sized would suit him fine. Hoof-beats pounded in the distance; someone had entered his land. He lifted his muzzle to the air to catch a scent, and realized with delight, that the scent was female. A mare was coming, hopefully to stay. Izraz whinnied with excitement, tossing his head and trotting to meet the mare who he hoped would be the first addition to his newly formed herd. The mare that met his orbs was a breathtaking fiery-red, with the body of a quarter horse. Her markings added to her over-all stunning image, and he found himself slightly flustered at the thought of talking to her. Bringing himself together with a deep breath, he walked towards the mare as she stopped for a drink at the pond, and cleared his throat. "Hello, I hope you are enjoying the land, I find it quite peaceful." he said to her with a smile upon his lips, "I am Izraz, might I know your name?"
ooc- sorry it took me a while to reply, i've been swamped.

The fiery red mare's ears caught the thundering hooves of the stallion she smelled when she came in to this land. Her body froze while she kept drinking while the thundering turned into something more of a trot. When she heard the sound of a throat getting cleared only her neck muscles untensed letting her lift her head up so she could see the dusty granite colored stallion. She snorted a little while she listened to him talk only to find out that his name is Izraz. She looked away from him for just a moment before shaking herself off of any sweat and dust that she had collected over the miles she traveled before looking at Izraz again. She thought about how to respond to him before deciding that she didn't mind. "I love the land you have claimed then because I can see that it is quite peaceful." she said, before thinking about whether to tell him, her name or not. "But why do you need my name? I am a trespasser after all so why do you not come to kill me or force me into your herd?" she said, knowing that was basically the life her mother had for the last 5 years or more of her life.

Dark hued orbs narrowed slightly as he watched the mare. She was indeed, stunning. He was used to seeing chestnuts, and sorrels, though none quite matched the fiery hues of her own pelt. Un-ordinary, to say the least. A small smirk played secretively across his maw, and he tucked his head in for a moment in an effort to hide it from the femme. He watched as she shook herself free of dust and sweat, and cleared his nostrils of any residue they might have collected in a short, quick snort. Her voice made his auds prick to attention, and he looked up to give her his full consideration. Stag nodded as she finished, "I am glad you think so, though I do not care if you are a trespasser. I am no northern, I welcome anyone that wants to stay. I won't force you, but if you wish to live here, you may. Otherwise, you may eat and drink your fill and be on your way." he told her calmly. Perhaps she would decide to stay and she would be his first herd member, though he wasn't going to get his hopes up quite yet.

Flashy's ears perked up due to curiosity when he hid his maw for a second or two which made her quite suspicious of him for a moment or two. She stomped her right front hoof before swishing her tail and trying to get rid of some of the bugs that were trying to gather on her. "Stupid bugs." she cursed to them softly before looking over at Izraz again. She did love his coat a little bit because she knew white and gray mares but his almost looked silver which made her trot over to him. She neighed softly to him before putting her maw to his and blowing into his nose. "Flashy...my name is Flashy." she said, in a nice, soft voice before removing her maw and walking by his side just to gently graze her tail tip a little on him. "Come on big boy. I'll race ya." she said, nickering to him before cantering off into the tall grass. She had heard what he said but she wanted to see how fast he could run before she would decide whether to stay or go.
